Quote: "To date, 4,835 private houses have been completely destroyed and 13,292 partially damaged in the Oblast. Also, 161 high-rise buildings were completely destroyed and 975 were partially damaged. 11,319 families need housing."

Details: According to Kuleba, construction of new homes for people who have lost their homes is planned to begin in mid-July.

"The main criterion for who to build in the first place remains that the destroyed house was their only housing. 280 houses is the figure that we should ideally reach by winter," he said.

Background: On 23 June, the Kyiv Oblast Council approved two programs to help people who lost their homes due to Russian aggression to receive housing. Their budgets are UAH 1.7 billion and UAH 2.805 billion. According to them, in 2022-23 560 houses will be built and 2000 apartments will be bought.
