Luhansk Oblast: Russian forces storm three villages near Sievierodonetsk

Russian occupying forces are storming the villages of Metiolkine, Syrotyne, and Voronove to the southeast of Sievierodonetsk.

Details: On 24 June, Russian forces attacked the industrial district of Sievierodonetsk and attempted to enter Lysychansk and blockade the city from the south.
In addition, Russian occupying forces conducted an airstrike on Lysychansk. Sievierodonetsk sustained an artillery attack, affecting the nearby villages of Synetskyi and Pavlohrad and the territories around two Sievierodonetsk plants: Azot [chemical plant - ed.] and Skloplastik [fibreglass and plastic plant - ed.]. Russian troops also fired on Vovchoiarivka, Bilohorivka and Loskutivka on 24 June.
In Lysychansk, a civilian who was caught in Russian shelling was found dead.
Doctors in a Dnipro hospital are fighting to save the lives of two children who were injured in Maloriazantseve on 23 June.

- On 24 June, Haidai reported that Russian occupying forces are using helicopters to target roads and bridges that lead to Lysychansk, destroying them.
- He also said that Ukrainian troops defending Sievierodonetsk in Luhansk Oblast have been ordered to retreat to better-fortified positions.
- Yurii Butusov, war reporter from the frontline, said that Ukrainian troops withdrew from the industrial district of Sievierodonetsk on the night of 23-24 June, thus having completed their withdrawal from the city.
