Quote: "According to the information we obtained, the Russian Federation will attempt to draw Belarus into the armed conflict with Ukraine by conducting a series of provocations targeting [Belarusian - ed.] infrastructure and the civilian population.

Sabotage groups disguised as civilians have arrived in the city of Mozyr in order to carry out these provocations.

We know that one of these groups is planning to carry out a series of terrorist attacks on the territory of Belarus…

Russia’s military intelligence agency (GRU) is planning to conduct a series of artillery and missile strikes on the Mozyr Oil Refinery, as well as civilian infrastructure and residential buildings. The attacks will be accompanied by explosions in residential buildings, hospitals and schools."

Details: According to Ukrainian intelligence, the groups of Russians now in Belarus include staff from the Russian intelligence directorate and mercenaries working for private military companies controlled by Sergei Shoigu, Russian Minister of Defence, and Yevgeny Prigozhin [a Russian entrepreneur close to Putin who reportedly has ties to the Wagner Group – ed.].

Russia relied on a similar "script" to stir up the war in Chechnya.

In that case, Russian special forces staged explosions in several residential buildings in the Russian city of Ryazan and blamed them on mythical "Chechen militants".

The Kremlin handlers believe that if a similar attack is staged in Belarus, it will provide Alexander Lukashenko, the self-proclaimed president of the Republic of Belarus, with a formal pretext to join Russia in its war against Ukraine.

The Russian authorities believe that Lukashenko would have no choice but to join the war.

Ukrainian intelligence has also reported that officers from the Belarusian army have access to this information and have begun to make arrangements to evacuate their families from Mozyr.
