Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has assured Ukrainians that the Armed Forces are holding on, even though the situation is complex.

It’s very tough for us, as the enemy has the advantage in terms of firepower. But we’re still holding on despite everything. The situation is complex, but under control.
We have to turn to retrograde defence and take frontiers and positions that are more advantageous for us.
