Quote from Haidai: "The Russians have captured another two villages…As of yesterday, Loskutivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka are occupied by the enemy.
However, we continue to hold the Russians back in Sievierodonetsk and Syrotyne, repelling their attacks on Zolote and Vovchiarivka.
The occupiers are destroying industrial infrastructure in Sievierodonetsk. This time, they inflicted fire damage on the brick factory, the Skloplastik [Fibreglass and plastic - ed.] plant, and the chemical equipment factory. The building of the second entry checkpoint at the Azot plant was damaged. The Russian army is ‘liberating’ Sievierodonetsk from life and employment opportunities."
Details: Over the course of 22 June, Russian troops opened fire on the city of Lysychansk several times. One of the city’s schools was damaged.
Three civilians were wounded on 22 June and admitted to hospitals in Kramatorsk and Pavlohrad.
"The day before yesterday, a man’s lifeless body was found. His injuries were caused by a shelling," Haidai said.
The most recent count of damage and destruction includes eight houses in Novoivanivka, eight in Hirske, and nine in Zolote.
In addition, the Russian army conducted airstrikes on Verkhniokamianka, Sievierodonetsk and Syrotyne, and conducted missile and air strikes on Hirske, all on 22 June.
Earlier: On 21 June, Russian occupying forces captured the urban-type settlements of Toshkivka and Myrna Dolyna and the village of Pidlisne, near Lysychansk. Fighting for Sievierodonetsk continues.
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) suggests that Russian forces might be able to capture Lysychansk in the next few days.
