Explosions heard near the port in captured Skadovsk - mayor

Two explosions took place near the seaport of Skadovsk, which has been captured by the Russians in the Kherson region.

Quote from Yakovliev: "It  just ‘arrived’ in Skadovsk. Two explosions were heard, one powerful one, in the port area."

Details: He later said that the destruction in the industrial zone of the port was confirmed.

Background:

• The Russian occupiers captured Skadovsk in early March.
• At the end of March, Ukrainian defenders launched a missile strike on a Russian landing ship in the port of Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
• On 21 June, it became known that the Ukrainian military had launched a concentrated strike against the Russian garrison on Zmiinyi (Snake) Island. The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the Pantsir C1 SAM, a radar station and aggressors' vehicles.
