Russian forces capture 2 villages near Lysychansk, Ukrainian Armed Forces repel assault on Vysoke – General Staff report

Russian occupying forces captured the villages of Pidlisne and Myrna Dolyna near Lysychansk in Luhansk Oblast and made some gains near Hirske and in the Bila Hora direction. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled a Russian assault on Vysoke.

Quote: "Fighting continues in the city of Sievierodonetsk on the Sievierodonetsk front. The enemy fired from tanks and artillery near Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Voronove, Myrna Dolyna, and Hirske.
Ukrainian troops have successfully repelled an enemy attempt to conduct reconnaissance-in-force on the Metiolkine – Voronove and Metiolkine – Syrotyne fronts. The enemy retreated.
The occupiers are consolidating their positions in the village of Ustynivka and are advancing on Bila Hora, where they have seen some success. Fighting continues.
On the Toshkivka – Pidlisne front, the enemy has captured the villages of Pidlisne and Myrna Dolyna and is consolidating their positions there. [Russian forces] were also partially successful in the area around the village of Hirske.
Ukrainian troops have successfully repelled the assault on Vysoke."
Details: On the Sloviansk front, Russia’s efforts are focused on maintaining its current positions and conducting defence operations.
Russian forces fired on Bohorodychne, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Hrushuvakha, Dolyna, Petrivske, Zahorodnie, Protopopivka, Pryshyb, Karnaukhivka, Virnopillia, Chervone, Dovhenke, and Krasnopillia with artillery. Russian aircraft conducted an airstrike near Dibrivne.
On the Donetsk front, Russian troops have regrouped in order to ramp up the hostilities on the Bakhmut front. In addition, there is evidence that Russian forces have consolidated some of their units.
For example, two battalion tactical groups from the 5th Combined Arms Army that lost their combat capability due to significant losses were consolidated into one battalion tactical group. Additionally, according to the available information, units of the 1st Motor Rifle Brigade of the 1st Army Corps were transferred away from the frontline to restore combat capability.
Russian forces did not undertake active combat operations on the Kramatorsk front, but fired on the positions of Ukrainian troops with mortars and artillery, including rocket artillery, in the area around the villages of Starodubivka and Pryshyb, the town of Donetske, and the city of Mykolaivka.
On the Bakhmut front, Russian forces shelled certain parts of Berestove and Komyshuvakha and attempted to advance in the direction of Oleksandropillia – Komyshuvakha. They were not successful in this attempt and were forced to retreat.
On the Avdiivka, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia fronts, Russia did not undertake active combat operations but shelled the territories around Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Novoandriivka, Huliaipilsje, and Novosilka.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian troops fired on the positions of Ukrainian troops in order to deplete their forces and inflict damage on their defence fortifications. Russia used drones to conduct aerial reconnaissance in the area.
There were no significant changes in the activity of the Belarusian Armed Forces on the Volyn and Polissia fronts, but there is still a threat of missile strikes from the Belarusian territory.
On the Sivershchyna front, Russian forces continue to perform combat engineering tasks in order to reinforce their positions near the border with Ukraine and to mine the border-adjacent territories. Russia deployed mortars and artillery to fire on Seredyna-Buda, Myropillia, and Yunakivka in Sumy Oblast and Hremiach in Chernihiv Oblast.
On the Kharkiv front, Russia conducted aerial reconnaissance in the area around Ruska Lozova, Cherkaska Lozova, and Pytomnyk. Russian artillery fired on Kharkiv, Peremoha, Verkhnii Saltiv, Staryi Saltiv, Chepil, Rubizhne, and Stara Hnylytsia. Russian MLRS fired on Korobochkyne, Mospanove, and Kutuzivka.
Earlier: On 21 June, Roman Vlasenko, head of the Sievierodonetsk District Military Administration, said that Russian occupation forces have captured the village of Toshkivka in Luhansk Oblast.
