Ukrainian defenders advance in Kherson region - Pivden [South] Operational Command

Ukrainian troops are advancing in Kherson Oblast, but authorities urge Ukrainians not to report details on social media, and to wait for official reports from the military.

Quote from Humeniuk: "The actions of our troops in the southern direction, towards Kherson, are quite successful. It is very difficult for the occupiers.

They have already used forces to arrange 2nd and 3rd lines of defence, they have to use extra [lines of defence], because we are already displacing the enemy even farther from them. We are advancing...

We will take these positions and will surely let you know. But now, as the military operation continues, I urge everyone to stay calm and wait for official announcements. Only the military knows where they are, where they are moving and what victories they have won."

Details: According to Humeniuk, Ukrainian troops repulsed Russian forces beyond the third line of defence in some areas, although the occupiers have fortified themselves with concrete structures in some areas.
