Decisive battles are underway in the conurbations of Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk, as the Russian leadership is demanding that its troops reach the administrative borders of Luhansk Oblast by 26 June.

Quote: "Now, without exaggeration, decisive battles are continuing in the area of Sievierodonetsk, and the enemy plans or missions that their leadership has set for them are to reach the borders of Luhansk Oblast by approximately 26 June.
Now the Russian army has thrown virtually all its forces and resources (for battle) at storming the surrounding settlements. They are trying to break through our troops’ defences and encircle them…
Our troops are doing everything they can to hold these territories and prevent encirclement."
Details: Maliar noted that Russia has the advantage in terms of weapons and resources, and therefore the situation will remain difficult. However, the Russians are suffering significant losses.
