Ukrainian Armed Forces repel 5 Russian attacks in Donbas; over 30 towns suffer effects of Russian shelling

The Ukrainian Joint Forces in Donbas repelled five Russian attacks over the past 24 hours and are continuing to fight back in two areas.

Quote from the Joint Forces Task Force: "The occupiers have shelled nearly 30 towns and villages in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and have destroyed or damaged 52 civilian objects, including 42 residential buildings, two factories, administrative premises and equipment of several rescue and fire service stations, and a hangar. Five civilians were killed in the shelling, seven other were wounded.
Joint Forces servicemen and servicewomen defending Ukraine repulsed five enemy attacks today. Fighting is continuing in two additional areas."
Details: Over the course of 2 May, the Joint Forces Task Force destroyed five Russian tanks, three artillery systems, and two armoured combat vehicles.
Additionally, Ukrainian Air Defence Forces shot down three Orlan-10 UAVs in the skies over Donbas.
A well-aimed artillery strike by the Skhid [East] Operational Tactical Group has destroyed a Russian command and observation post.
Overall, in the area under the responsibility of the Skhid [East] Operational Tactical Group, Ukrainian defence forces killed 32 Russian soldiers and destroyed two Russian tanks, one infantry fighting vehicle, one armoured personnel carrier, two artillery systems, one mortar gun, and one drone.
