Occupiers fire on Chernihiv Region from Russian Federation

On 2 June, the Russian military fired on the border settlements of Chernihiv Oblast from the territory of the Russian Federation.

Details: From 11:45 to 12:15 pm, observers recorded 12 explosions near the village of Mykhalchyna-Sloboda. These may have come from a 120mm-calibre mortar, according to previous information. 

From 13:30 to 13:45 pm, 10 more explosions were recorded in the Mykhalchyna-Sloboda area. Tthese also may have come from a 120mm-calibre mortar, according to previous information. 

There are no casualties among personnel and equipment.

There were no reports of casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.

Background: On the morning of 21 May the Russian occupiers fired on the border area of Sumy Oblast, and in the afternoon on Chernihiv Oblast.
