A powerful explosion has taken place near the port in Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, which is occupied by the Russian army.

Background:                                                       

• 24 March in the Russian-occupied port of Berdiansk, the Orsk, a large landing ship belonging to Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, was destroyed. Fire spread to other ships, fuel and ammunition.
• The commanders of two damaged landing ships in Berdiansk are traitors to Ukraine who sided with the occupiers in 2014.
