Mortar shelling of Sumy region: woman injured, one house burnt down, 9 more damaged

A 48-year-old woman was injured, 1 house destroyed, and 9 houses and electric poles were damaged as a result of the mortar shelling of the Sumy region.

Details: According to the investigation data, on 19 June 2022 from 3:00 to 5:30, Russians shelled the town of Seredyna-Buda in the Shostka district of Sumy Oblast with mortars from within Russia, thus using means of warfare forbidden by the international law.
The shelling caused a fire. One house was destroyed by the fire and 9 other houses, outbuildings etc. were damaged.
A 48-year-old local woman was injured.
Electric poles were also damaged and wires downed.
A pre-trial investigation into this breach of the laws of war is being carried out.
