Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian attacks on several fronts – General Staff report

The Armed Forces of Ukraine forced Russian troops to retreat near the town of Toshkivka [near Sievierodonetsk, in Luhansk Oblast - ed.], repelled a Russian assault on the Orikhove – Zolote and Pervomaisk – Zolote fronts and stopped the Russian troops’ advance on the Vrubivka – Mykolaivka front.

Details: There were no significant changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts. There is an ongoing threat of missile and airstrikes from the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

On the Sivershchyna front, Russia continues to maintain the presence of units of the Western Military District of the Russian Armed Forces in areas of Russia’s Bryansk and Kursk oblasts near the Ukrainian border in order to pin down the Ukrainian Defence Forces. Russian troops continue to perform combat engineering tasks to reinforce their positions and to conduct aerial reconnaissance.

On the Kharkiv front, Russian troops’ main efforts are focused on maintaining their existing positions. Russian aircraft conducted airstrikes on Tymofiivka and Tsapivka. Weapons, military equipment and other supplies continue to be delivered from the territory of the Russian Federation.

Russian forces attempted to conduct reconnaissance-in-force near Rubizhne, but were unsuccessful. They planted remote mines in the area around the town of Cherkaski Tyshky.

On the Sloviansk front, Russian occupying forces fired on Ukrainian positions near Dibrivne, Virnopillia, Kurulka, Bohorodychne and Dolyna.

Russia did not undertake active combat operations on the Lyman front but fired on Ukrainian units near Donetske and Mykolaivka. Russian aircraft conducted an airstrike near Pryshyb and a missile strike on the town of Maiaky.

On the Sievierodonetsk front, Russian occupying forces are firing on Lysychansk, Borivske, Bila Hora and Ustynivka and have conducted airstrikes near Bila Hora and Myrna Dolyna and a missile strike on Verkhniokamianka.

Russian forces are using Orlan-10 UAVs to conduct 24/7 aerial reconnaissance operations in order to adjust their fire in the area around Sievierodonetsk. Fighting to establish full control of the city continues.

Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled a Russian assault operation near Toshkivka. Russian forces retreated and are regrouping.

On the Bakhmut front, Russian occupying forces are firing on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Mykolaivka, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka and Pokrovske. Russian missile  strikes took place near Zaitseve and New-York.

Russia continues to conduct assault operations on the Orikhove – Hirske front, fighting continues there.

Ukrainian Defence Forces have successfully repelled Russian assault operations on the Orikhove – Zolote and Pervomaisk – Zolote fronts.

Assault groups of Russian troops are attempting to conduct reconnaissance-in-force in order to establish the positions of Ukrainian troops on the Nyrkove – Mykolaivka front. Fighting continues there. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the Russian troops’ attempt to advance on the Vrubivka – Mykolaivka front, forcing the Russians to retreat.

Russian forces did not undertake active combat operations on the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, but conducted missile strikes on the areas near Myroliubivka and Hrodivka.

Russia’s efforts on the Pivdennyi Buh front are focused on maintaining its previously occupied positions.

On the Mykolaiv front, Russian forces fired on the Ukrainian Defence Forces with artillery, including rocket artillery, near Pravdyne, Posad-Pokrovske and Blahodatne. They used UAVs to conduct aerial reconnaissance of Ukrainian troop positions near Tavriiske.

On the Kryvyi Rih front, Russian artillery and multiple launch rocket systems fired on the areas around Chervonyi Yar and Kobzartsi.

Ukrainian forces are inflicting significant losses on the Russian troops on all fronts where active hostilities are currently underway.

"The Russian occupiers continue to spread false information that Ukrainian units are stationed in schools, hospitals and churches, in order to attempt to excuse the destruction of these civilian facilities all over the territory of Ukraine," the General Staff report also noted.
