Russian missiles strike the Dnipropetrovsk Region: there are 11 injured

Russian forces launched three cruise missiles at an oil depot in the Novomoskovsk district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, wounding 11 people.

Quote from Lukash: "In the evening we have several ‘arrivals’ [strikes] in the Novomoskovsk district. According to preliminary data, there are victims and large-scale destruction. All information is currently being clarified."

Details: Around 20:45 Reznichenko said that three Russian missiles hit an oil depot in the Novomoskovsk region. Three people were hospitalised with burns.

According to Reznichenko, the oil depot was destroyed as a result of the air attack. Rescuers are currently extinguishing the flames.

After 9:30 pm, Ukrainska Pravda sources reported that the number of injured had increased to 11. One of the victims is in serious condition, three are in moderate condition, and seven others suffered minor injuries.

Emergency medical staff first hospitalised three people. Eight others later sought medical attention on their own.

Background:

  • On the night of 18 June, in the sky over the Odessa region, Ukrainian defenders shot down two Russian missiles launched from the Onyx coastal complexes in Crimea.
  • Early in the morning of 18 June, six Russian cruise missiles hit the Kremenchuk Oil Refinery, two more were aimed at thermal power plants.
  • In the afternoon of 18 June, the Russians launched rockets at Kryvyi Rih, resulting in civilian casualties.
  • The Pivden [South] Operational Command reported that 20 Caliber missiles were ready to be launched on ships of the Russian Navy in the Black Sea.
