President Zelenskyy bestows military awards on the front line

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine has visited the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Mykolaiv Oblast.

Details: In the video Zelenskyy shared on Telegram, he is bestowing state awards on Ukrainian servicemen and women and thanking them for their service. He also thanked their parents.
According to the president’s website, President Zelenskyy awarded Colonel Vadym Sukharevskyi the Zolota Zirka award [Golden Star - ed.] and the title "Hero of Ukraine".
"Colonel Vadym Sukharevskyi, Commander of the 59th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade of the Pivden [South - ed.] Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has selflessly dedicated himself to repelling Russian aggression since 24 February 2022. Units of the brigade under his command have been successfully carrying out combat operations in Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts and inflicting significant losses on the enemy," Zelenskyy said.
Previously: Earlier on Saturday, President Zelenskyy arrived in Mykolaiv Oblast and held a meeting in the city of Mykolaiv to discuss the current situation in the region.
