Quote from Yermak: "Of the sanctions plan put forward by the McFaul-Yermak Group, 48% has already been implemented.
The United States has imposed new financial restrictions, Switzerland has joined the 6th package of EU sanctions, and the United Kingdom has imposed sanctions against Patriarch Kirill".
Details: At the same time, Yermak added that there has not yet been any progress on sanctions in the spheres of energy and transport.
Ukraine is also waiting for Russia to be recognized as a state sponsor of terrorism.
According to Yermak, the Kremlin continues to blackmail Europe, cutting gas supplies to Germany by 60% and to Italy by 15%.
Background:
- Olaf Scholz, the German Chancellor, said that sanctions against Russia, which has attacked Ukraine, would remain in force until Moscow reaches a "fair agreement" with Ukraine.
- According to Scholz, only Kyiv can determine which conditions will be fair, and "no one in Europe has the right to impose their opinion on this."
