General Staff reports continuing fighting on several fronts

Details: On the Volyn, Polissia and Sivershchyna front, the situation has not changed significantly.

On the Kharkiv front, Russian forces are trying to prevent Ukrainian soldiers from reaching the border and the rear of the Russian group of troops on the Sloviansk front. To restore supply routes through the railway, the invaders plan to lay [new] railway branches. The Russian occupiers fired on civilian infrastructure in the areas of Kozacha Lopan, Petrivka, Korobochkine and Pryshyb.

On the Sloviansk front, the invaders’ efforts are focused on the offensive on Sloviansk; the fighting continues. The aggressor fired on the areas of the Dibrivne, Dolyna, Krasnopillia, Hrushuvakha and Adamivka settlements, using artillery. An attempt has been made to resume the assault. The fighting continues.

On the Donetsk front, the aggressors continue to focus their efforts on the Sievierodonetsk and Bakhmut fronts.

The Russian army hasn't taken any active actions on the Lyman front. Russian troops fired artillery at the Maiak and Sydorove districts.

On the Sievierodonetsk front, Russian troops continue to fire from artillery and rocket-propelled grenade launchers at the positions of the Ukrainian army and civilian infrastructure near Lysychansk, Metolkine, Ustynivke and Voronove. The fighting for Sievierodonetsk continues. In order to improve the tactical situation, units of the Russian occupying forces tried to carry out assault operations outside the city but were unsuccessful.

On the Bakhmut front, in addition to firing at Ukrainian positions, the aggressors fired artillery of various calibres at civilian infrastructure in the areas of the settlements of Zolote, Spirne, Berestove, Soledar, Klynove and Troitske.

The Ukrainian troops once again inflicted losses on the occupying forces not far from Hirske, Berestove and Kodema. After unsuccessful assaults, the occupiers withdrew. As a result of Ukrainian fire, units of the 11th Separate Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 1st Army Corps suffered significant losses and were withdrawn from the area of ​​combat operations to restore combat capability.

On the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, the occupying forces have taken no active action. They fired on civilian infrastructure from artillery in the settlements of Kamianka, Avdiivka, Opytne, Volodymyrivka, Novosilka and Shcherbaky.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front, in order to deter our troops, the aggressors fired artillery, mortars and MLRS at the areas of the settlements of Shyroke, Blahodatne, Shevchenkove, Prybuzke and Topolyne. The Russian occupying forces are trying to improve the engineering equipment of the advanced positions and to mine dangerous areas along the Inhulets river.

According to available information, during the past 24hrs, Ukrainian units have destroyed at least 30 units of various equipment and weapons of the Russian army. The information is currently being clarified.

The invaders’ ammunition depots continue to be blown up.
