The SSU detained a Sumy resident near the border who was spying for Russia

The Security Service of Ukraine [SSU] said it has detained a Russian agent who was carrying out reconnaissance on the Armed Forces' [of Ukraine] positions in the Sumy region, near the border with Russia.

Quote: "The counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed the agent of the special services of the Russian Federation for carrying out reconnaissance and sabotage activities.
During the special operation, a resident of Sumy was detained for giving information about the deployment, armament and movement of units of the Armed Forces [of Ukraine] in the border areas to the invaders."
Details: The SSU reports that the traitor was recruited by a representative of the Russian secret services during the full-scale aggression.
On the instructions of the occupiers, he carried out photo and video recording of the location of defence facilities and the movement of Ukrainian military equipment.
The perpetrator forwarded the received materials to his curator.
During searches, law enforcement officers found computers and mobile devices with evidence of criminal activity [of the detained man].
The issue of notifying him about the charges of treason committed under martial law is currently being resolved.
