Russia claims another village in Kursk Oblast shelled

Roman Starovoyt, the governor of the Kursk Oblast of the Russian Federation, has said that the "enemy" opened mortar fire on a village in the oblast.

Details: Starovoyt did not clarify who the "enemy" was and did not report where the shelling was carried out from.
Quote from Starovoyt: "Around 05:00 today [on 17 June - ed.] the border village of Gordeevka in the Korenevo district was shelled with mortars.
The source of the enemy fire was quickly neutralised, there were no casualties and no significant damage was done. According to preliminary information, windows shattered in some buildings.
The situation is under the full control of our border guards and military personnel."
