Ukrainian intelligence published an intercept of a conversation where the occupier explains to his wife that his unit is no longer waiting for a rotation, but for a complete withdrawal from Ukraine.
Source: Main Directorate of Intelligence
Details: The occupiers’ wives are trying to bring their husbands home while they are still alive, but the Russian command is not giving them a chance.
Quote from the occupier's wife: "You will be there until the end of hostilities. No earlier than autumn. That is, not before September. There is no replacement for you. Even those whose contracts expire will remain there until hostilities end."
In response, the husband is outraged that the wives of servicemen are doing little to bring them back. He says that she needs to contact the prosecutor's office. To which the wife objects: "What can you say in the prosecutor's office? You signed the contract."
Quote from the occupier: "If nothing changes, people will get this information and start shooting themselves [in order to come home for medical reasons]. There is no other way, no way to go home. Either they shoot you or you shoot yourself. Every day you sit and think: f*** ... the only thing left behind will be your sneakers."
To his wife’s objections, the infidel says: "Let them withdraw us entirely. What replacement? There are 19-year-old boys sitting here …".
