The Russian occupiers have began to save their modern missiles - outdated Soviet models are being launched in Ukraine.
Source: Yurii Ihnat, spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine - Ukrinform
Quote from Ihnat: "Recently, there has been a tendency for Russia to save their high-precision, expensive missiles. And now the enemy is increasingly using Soviet types of missiles - X-59 and X-22. The latter is an extremely powerful missile, the destructive part of which weighs 900 kilograms. It leaves great destruction behind. But its main drawback is that it does not hit the target; civilian facilities are often struck [by it]. "
Details: According to Ihnat, Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile forces have shot down more than 500 invaders’ air targets since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. These are Russian cruise missiles, UAVs, planes and helicopters.
The spokesman for the Air Force also added that for about 2 months now, Russian aviation has not entered the territory of Ukraine, which is controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russians are using helicopters and strike aircraft over the occupied territories.
