Russian occupying forces are trying to surround units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of ​​Lysychansk, Sievierodonetsk, Borivske and Pryvillia.

On the Sloviansk front, the Russian army attempted to carry out assault operations in Bohorodychne, but it was unsuccessful there, withdrew, and established itself in the northwestern part of the settlement.

On the Sievierodonetsk front, the aggressors carried out assaults in order to establish full control over the city of Sievierodonetsk; they launched an offensive against the positions of Ukrainian troops in the area of ​​Metolkine, but were unsuccessful.

Details: In order to constrain the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and prevent the transfer of reserves to more difficult areas, Russian troops continue to fire on thm, using mortars and artillery.

The occupiers continue to strengthen their troops on the Kryvyi Rih front.

The Russian occupiers are continuing to defend the Pivdennyi Buh area. Their troops are conducting reconnaissance, counter-battery combat, engineering of fortifications and positions, and increasing the combat capabilities of reserves.

On the Volyn, Polissia, Lyman, Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts there are no significant changes.

The Russian army fired on Hirsk and Hremiach in Chernihiv Oblast, and on Zapsillia in Sumy Oblast, using mortars and grenade launchers. Russian military personnel are building defensive fortifications in the border areas on the territory of the Russian Federation.

In the Kharkiv region, the Russians are trying to disrupt the logistics of supplying Ukrainian troops operating near Sloviansk. The invaders continued shelling in the north of the region and reconnoitred the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

Background:

  • As of the morning of 13 June, Russian occupying forces had lost 32,300 troops, 1,432 tanks, 3,492 armoured combat vehicles, 718 artillery systems and 213 planes.
  • In the morning report, the General Staff reported that the Russian occupiers had pushed Ukrainian defenders out of Sievierodonetsk city centre.
  • U.S. military experts say Russian troops have made some progress in advancing to Sloviansk from Izium.
