Assault on Sievierodonetsk continues, Russia tries to break through near Toshkivka – Luhansk Military Administration

The fight for Sievierodonetsk is continuing. The situation in Toshkivka, where Russian forces are trying to press past the Ukrainian defence line, is very difficult, according to Serhii Haidai, the head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration.

Details: According to Haidai, the situation in Luhansk Oblast is the most difficult in all of Ukraine. It is impossible to count the number of times it has come under fire.
The Russian assault on Sievierodonetsk is continuing, as are Russian attempts to storm Toshkivka.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have repulsed Russian attacks near Vrubivka, Metiolkyne, and Mykolaivka.
Ukrainian defenders "have successfully stopped the enemy’s advance" near Popasna.
Over the course of the past 24 hours, Russian forces have fired on Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Metiolkyne, Pavlohrad, Synetskyi, Ustynivka, Toshkivka, Komyshuvakha, Hirske, Zolote, Vrubivka, Mykolaivka, Bilohorivka, and Shypylivka.
In Sievierodonetsk, Russian troops have fired on the Azot chemical plant and a fibreglass production plant.
The villages of Pavlohrad and Synetskyi near Sievierodonetsk came under intense Russian fire.
Over the course of 11 June, Russian troops destroyed 10 houses in Zolote and 10 in Vrubivka, two in Mykolaivka, and four in Lysychansk, where a shopping mall and a shop [unrelated to the mall - ed.] were also destroyed.
A woman was killed in Lysychansk. A man and a woman who suffered injuries in Lysychansk were hospitalised elsewhere in Ukraine.
Quote from Haidai: "No one can say whether there were casualties in Sievierodonetsk over the past 24 hours, and if so, how many. Heavy fighting is continuing there. Yes, people are hiding in shelters, but Russians are firing on residential neighbourhoods for hours on end, using high-calibre artillery. Everyone probably wants to evacuate now, but it is currently impossible to organise evacuation from Sievierodonetsk.
I’d like to note that in May, police officers, rescuers, and volunteers talked to each and every Sievierodonetsk resident, they visited all shelters and basements [trying to get people to evacuate - ed.]. So now we can only hold on.
Yesterday the enemy once again hit Azot [chemical plant - ed.], in particular its transport workshop, where fuel and lubricants caught fire. One of the premises of the Sievierodonetsk fibreglass plant was also damaged.
Russians have also targeted rescue workers’ training grounds on the outskirts of the city."
