The Armed Forces of Ukraine go on the counteroffensive in Kherson Oblast on the Kyselivka, Soldatske and Oleksandrivka fronts.

Background:
- Michael Carpenter, the Chief of the USA Mission in the OSCE, claimed that the Russian authorities have started to formalise the annexation of Kherson Oblast followed by human rights and international law violations.
- According to Ukrainian military intelligence, the Russian occupiers are bringing their families to the occupied territory of the Kherson region.
- The Russians are also preparing to celebrate the so called "Russia Day" on 12 June.
