Russian forces enter Orikhove, storming of Sievierodonetsk continues – Luhansk Military Administration

Russian occupation forces have fired on Vrubivka with a flamethrower system, have entered Orikhove, and are continuing to storm Sievierodonetsk. Information about the number of casualties is being confirmed.

Details: Over the course of 10 June, Russian troops used different types of weapons to fire on Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Ustynivka, Toshkivka, Zolote, Nyrkove, Hirske, Vrubivka, and Komyshuvakha.

The housing stock has sustained a lot of damage and destruction.

Many houses in Vrubivka burnt down after Russia deployed a jet-driven flamethrower system in an attack on the city.

All industrial facilities in Rubizhne and Popasna have been destroyed in Russian attacks. Russian forces continue to destroy factories in Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk. 

On 10 June, Russian shelling destroyed a railway depot belonging to the Azot chemical plant. Russian shells also hit the premises of a brick factory and a research facility. In Lysychansk, Russian shells hit a glass factory. A school and a culinary college were also damaged under the Russian fire.

Haidai added that five citizens of Lysychansk who sustained wounds in the previous several days have been taken to hospital in Dnipro and Lviv.

Over the course of the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repulsed 14 Russian attacks and destroyed 4 Russian tanks, 2 artillery systems, 11 armoured combat vehicles, 3 vehicles, and an ammunition depot. Air Defence Forces have shot down 4 Orlan-10 UAVs.
