General Staff: Fighting continues for Sievierodonetsk, the occupiers are preparing an attack on Sloviansk

The occupiers are preparing to resume the offensive on Sloviansk, and fighting is underway for Sievierodonetsk, where the Russians are trying to establish full control and blockade the Ukrainian military.

Details: On the Sloviansk front, Russian units are preparing to resume the offensive on the city of Sloviansk. The enemy fired artillery at the settlements of Dolyna, Chervona Poliana, Nova Dmytrivka, Hrushuvakha and Dibrivne.
On the Sievierodonetsk front, Russian occupying forces are storming in order to establish full control over the city of Sievierodonetsk and create conditions for the blockade of Ukrainian units. The fighting continues. Russian troops fired artillery at the settlements of Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Ustynivka, Toshkivka, Zolote and Hirske.
On the Bakhmut front, enemy fire activity was recorded near Niu-Iork, Zolote, Vrubivka, Komyshuvakha, Berestove and Luhansk.
The occupiers did not carry out active offensive operations on the Avdiivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavliv and Zaporizhzhia fronts. They fired from mortars, artillery and multiple launch rocket systems at the settlements of Avdiivka, Tonenke, Nevelske, Marinka, Orikhiv, Opytne and Novobakhmutivka.
Russian occupying forces launched air strikes using SU-25 aircraft near Marinka and Krasnohorivka, KA-52 helicopters near Novobakhmutivka and MI-8 near Oleksandropil. On the Novopavlivsk front, Russian troops strengthened the grouping of its troops.
Russian occupying forces did not wage active hostilities on the Lyman front. They continue to consolidate in the area of Sviatohirsk. They are taking measures to continue the offensive on the front of the Lyman - Sloviansk. They fired near Dronivka and Serebrianka.
On the Kharkiv front, Russian troops are trying to prevent the advance of units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the direction of the state border. The aggressor fired at Ukrainian units with mortars, artillery and multiple launch rocket systems in the areas of Kharkiv, Krynychna, Husarivka, Bairak and Chepil.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, occupiers are defending. They continue to improve the fortification equipment of the second and third lines of defence. They are also carrying out camouflage measures.
The situation on the Besarabia front has not changed significantly.
In the Black Sea and Sea of Azov, Russian occupying forces are focusing their efforts on blocking civilian navigation. In the Black Sea, carriers of Kalibr-type sea-based cruise missiles (SLCMs) are ready for use.
On the Volyn, Polissia and Siverskyi fronts, the situation has not changed significantly.
The General Staff noted that units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict significant losses on Russian troops and maintain a stable defence in all fronts.
"It is increasingly difficult for the enemy to replenish units that have suffered losses as a result of the war on the territory of Ukraine. The aggressors are trying to solve the problem of recruitment by promising favourable financial conditions and introducing short-term contracts for military service. The occupiers themselves call such contracts ‘one way,’" the summary states.
