Russia keeps 40 cruise missiles in the Black Sea - Pivden [South] Operational Command

Russia has strengthened its naval group near Ukraine with another submarine - a cruise missile carrier. A total of 40 cruise missiles are at the ready in the Black Sea.

Quote from Pivden [South] Operational Command: "The threat of missile strikes from the sea remains high. 40 cruise missiles are at the ready, as is one large landing ship. 

Details: It is noted that Russia continues to blockade the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

Background: 

• On 6 June, it was reported that the invaders had  two missile ships and a submarine equipped with 20 Caliber cruise missiles ready to attack in the Black Sea.
• On 4 June, it became known that a group of five large landing ships from three fleets of the Russian Navy had left for the Black Sea.
