Ukraine’s Air Defence shoots down 10 Russian targets, Ukraine’s attack aircraft deter Russian offensive

Ukraine’s Air Defence Forces destroyed 10 Russian targets on Sunday, 8 May.

Details: On 8 May, Air Defence Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 5 unmanned aerial vehicles (4 Orlan-10 UAVs and 1 Forpost UAV) and 3 cruise missiles. Anti-aircraft Missile Units of the Land Forces of Ukraine destroyed 2 more Orlan-10 UAVs.

Overall, 10 aerial targets were destroyed: 7 UAVs and 3 cruise missiles.

Air Defence Forces Command stresses that Ukraine’s attack aircraft are carrying out missile and bomb strikes on Russian occupation troops in order to hinder their offensive on certain fronts.
