Aggressors’ plans in Kherson region: Russian passports and double-headed eagle emblem

The occupying authorities have stated that all residents of the Kherson region will have the right to obtain Russian citizenship. The invaders are also going to adopt a Russian Empire-era emblem in the occupied territories.

Quote: "We will integrate with the Russian Federation as much as possible. All citizens in the Kherson region will have the right to obtain Russian citizenship and Russian passports.
It has been decided to bring back a historical emblem in the Kherson oblast that dates back to the times when the region was part of the Russian Empire."
Details: According to him, the new emblem is based on the first emblem of the city of Kherson and the Kherson povit (historical administrative district - ed.), which was adopted on 7 October 1803.
The new emblem features a black double-headed crowned eagle on a golden shield. The eagle holds a laurel branch in its right claw and a flame in its left. On the eagle’s chest is a blue shield with a golden cross.
