Kremlin will not send a delegation to Mariupol on 9 May: not [the time] for big holidays

The Kremlin has stated that a broad celebration of "Victory Day'' in Russian-occupied Ukrainian Mariupol is impossible, the delegation from Russia is not going there on 9 May.

Details: According to Peskov, a broad celebration of Victory Day in Mariupol is currently impossible "for obvious reasons."
He does not know anything about an official delegation from Russia going to Mariupol to celebrate 9 May.
"There will probably be Russians there, there will be a lot of Russians on 9 May, but I don't know about any official delegation," said a spokesman for the Russian president.
When asked about the storming of Azovstal in Mariupol, Peskov said he knew nothing about the cancellation of Vladimir Putin's order not to storm the plant, in the underground bunkers of which the Ukrainian defenders are hiding: "I do not know about any changes. You need to contact the Ministry of Defence for more details."
