Russia unsuccessful at advancing in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions - General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Russian forces made unsuccessful offensive attempts in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions on Thursday – at the same time they continue to incite tension in the Transnistrian region of Moldova and Belarus.

Quote: "[The enemy] incites tension in the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova and in the Republic of Belarus. It [Russia] regroups, takes measures to replenish ammunition and fuel. It tries to improve the tactical position of its troops.
In the temporarily occupied territories, the occupiers continue to plunder the products of agricultural enterprises. The Russian side continues to accuse the government of Ukraine of creating a humanitarian catastrophe in the territory controlled by the occupiers. Also, the invaders emulate humanitarian activities with the performative distribution of food packages and medicines to local residents."
Details: The enemy also continues to launch missile attacks on transport infrastructure facilities in order to prevent the movement of humanitarian cargo and military-technical assistance. The use of mortars and artillery is constant along the entire line of contact.
On the Slobozhanskyi front, Russian forces attempted to restore lost positions in the proximity of the city of Kharkiv, carrying out an unsuccessful offensive in the area of the settlement of Staryi Saltiv.
Due to the constant non-fatal casualties of personnel, the Russian Federation is building up a system of medical support for troops, using a network of civilian medical institutions in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kharkiv region. A hospital has been set up on the site of the Kupiansk city hospital.
Russian units continually try to improve their tactical position around the city of Izium and conduct artillery shelling on nearby settlements, but with no real success.
Due to significant losses, a unit from the 4th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army and the 106th Airborne Division of the Russian Armed Forces withdrew for restoration.
On the Donetsk front, the enemy tried to capture Popasna, take full control of the city of Rubizhne, and establish favourable conditions for continuing the offensive in the directions of Lyman and Sievierodonetsk, but was not successful.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, Russian forces did not undertake any action. Some Belarusian forces were brought to the highest levels of combat readiness for the purpose of inspection.
In the Sievierskyi direction, the fitting out of positions in border areas of the Kursk region is being carried out.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russia concentrated its efforts on fortifying positions, replenishing stocks of ammunition, fuel, and equipment.
Administrative and policing measures continue in the temporarily occupied territories. The occupiers continue to carry out filtration measures against local residents, as well as preventing any evacuation to the territory controlled by Ukrainian authorities. At the same time, the occupiers are taking measures to replenish the losses of personnel through the accelerated training of contracted military personnel.
