Victims of the Russian Federation: one girl wounded in Mykolaiv Region, another found dead in Kyiv region

The number of officially documented casualties of Russia's war against Ukraine among children has risen to 221 children; 408 children have been injured.

Details: As of the morning of 5 May, at least 629 children have been injured in Russian armed aggression against Ukraine - and these numbers are incomplete, as work is underway to establish numbers in areas of active hostilities in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
On 3 May a 9-year-old girl was wounded as a result of shelling by the Russian occupiers of Velykyi Kut village (probably Veselyi Kut – UP) in Mykolaiv Region.
As criminal offences committed by the Russian army in the Kyiv region were being recorded, the body of a 10-year-old girl was found in the village of Shybene. She had died of shrapnel wounds due to a Russian shell hitting the house.
According to available data, during the 70 days of the war the most affected children were in Donetsk Region - 139, Kyiv Region - 116, Kharkiv Region - 95, Chernihiv Region - 68, Kherson Region - 46, Mykolaiv region - 44, Luhansk Region - 37, Zaporizhzhia - 27, Sumy Region - 17, in Kyiv - 16, Zhytomyr Region - 15.
