Ukrainian journalist Oleksandr Makhov was killed by Russian shelling.

According to Ukraine 24: "Oleksandr Makhov died in aggressors’ shelling.
Oleksandr had been working at the ‘Ukraine’ and ‘Ukraine24’ channels for many years and covered events on the front line. Oleksandr served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
Details: Makhov shared that he had been injured on 28 April.
"Heavy fighting. I’ve been nicked by a shrapnel splinter. I remain on duty," he wrote.
On 24 February, the day of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Oleksandr Makhov wrote that he was going to war.
"I will fight and kill as long as I have the strength," he said.
