According to Haidai: "The research team from the University of Tokyo has published digital maps showing the destruction in the Luhansk region resulting from the Russian invasion.
The satellites, using infrared radiation, showed that massive fires broke out in several towns of the Luhansk oblast one after another in the last month, indicating brutal Russian attacks."
Details: Serhii Haidai published the visualisation of fires recorded by satellites in Popasna.
Significant destruction, explosions, and fires are marked in red. The map shows that the shelling and destruction occurred near residential areas and private estates.
The head of the research group, Hidenori Watanave, attached a Russian-made video recorded by a drone, which confirms the significant damage.
