Russian troops shell central Dnipro

On the evening of Wednesday, 4 May, Russian troops shelled the centre of the city of Dnipro.

Quote from Filatov: "Shelling right in the centre of Dnipro.
Do not leave the shelters! We are awaiting official information from the military administration."
Details: Oleksandr Kamyshin, Chairman of Ukrzaliznytsia, said that Russian troops attacked railway infrastructure in Dnipro.
"Another missile strike on Dnipro’s railway infrastructure. No casualties among railway staff. We will be able to assess the extent of damage after the all-clear is sounded," he wrote.
Later, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko said that local railway suspended operation as a result of the missile hitting the railway infrastructure.
Russia launched two missile strikes at Dnipro city, according to him.
"One missile has been shot down by our Air Defence. The other one has hit the railway infrastructure. People have not been affected. There is [some] damage. The railway has suspended operation."
Earlier: Wednesday, 4 May is the second day when an air raid siren was sounded in almost every region of Ukraine, other than Russian-occupied Crimea and Kherson Region, due to Russian missile strikes.

- An air raid siren was sounded around 19:00 on Tuesday, 3 May in all regions of Ukraine apart from the Russian-occupied territories. Russian troops carried out missile strikes on the railway electric grid in the western and central regions of Ukraine.
- Russian troops also carried out the first missile strike on Zakarpattia Region since the beginning of the full-scale war.
- The greatest number of missiles hit railway facilities near Lviv. Several missiles were shot down over Vinnytsia Region.
- On the morning of 4 May, nearly 50 passenger trains were significantly delayed due to the Russian missile strikes on the previous day.
