Luhansk Military Administration: Russian troops advance in Sievierodonetsk, fighting continues

On 30 May, Russian occupying forces made slight advances into the city of Sievierodonetsk; street fighting continues.

Quote: "The situation in Sievierodonetsk is as difficult as it gets. The occupiers have managed to advance from their positions on the outskirts, near the Myr Hotel, towards the centre of the city. Street fighting has been ongoing and will continue."

Details: Haidai urged the residents of Sievierodonetsk to avoid going outside and to remain in their shelters.

He also reported that he hopes that the three doctors who went missing the previous day are alive, since their bodies were not found in the "ambulance" that was fired on.

As for the volunteers that were caught in the Russian shelling earlier, Haidai reported that all of them were alive and have been evacuated.

Evacuation from Luhansk Oblast has been suspended after Russian troops shelled an evacuation convoy near Lysychansk, killing a French journalist and wounding several other civilians. It will be resumed when the situation in the oblast stabilises.
