A total of 1,092,137 people have been evacuated since the beginning of the special military operation, including 196,356 children."

Details: Mikhail Mizintsev also stated that over the past 24 hours, 103 requests had allegedly been received from Ukrainians for evacuation to Russia, the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" and "Luhansk People's Republic", as well as to the Russian-occupied areas of Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Kherson regions.

"In total, the database includes 2,754,241 such appeals from 2,133 settlements in Ukraine," Mizintsev claimed.

Background: It was reported at the end of March that the Russian invaders forcibly deported children without their parents from Mariupol to a hospital in occupied Donetsk.

The Centre for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine warned that Russia had begun to exploit Ukrainian children deported from territories provisionally occupied by Russia for propaganda purposes.
