General Staff: Civilians no longer admitted to hospitals in Crimea in move to free up beds for wounded Russian soldiers

The Russian occupation administration in temporarily occupied Crimea has ordered Crimean hospitals to stop admitting civilians in order to free up beds for wounded Russian soldiers.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the number of training measures undertaken as part of readiness checks of the Belarusian Armed Forces’ has increased. There is a threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of Belarus on objects of Ukrainian infrastructure. 

On the Siversk front, Russia continues to cover the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Russian oblasts of Bryansk and Kursk. Russian forces shelled the positions of Ukrainian Defence Forces in Sumy Oblast, Ukraine.

On the Slobozhansk front, Russia is systematically inflicting fire damage on the Ukrainian Armed Forces in order to prevent their advance to the state border of Ukraine. Russia is taking measures to replenish losses in weapons and military equipment.

On the Kharkiv front, Russia’s main efforts are focused on maintaining its positions and holding back Ukrainian troops. Russian troops shelled civilian infrastructure in and around Cherkasky Tyshky, Ruski Tyshky, Petrivka, and Ternova. They planted mines on possible routes of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

Russia did not undertake active combat operations on the Sloviansk front, but has intensified its reconnaissance activity in the area. Its main efforts are focused on maintaining its current positions and creating favourable conditions to resume the offensive. Russian troops are replenishing losses and supplies. They conducted an artillery shelling of civilian infrastructure in and around Husarivka, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Bohorodychne, Sviatohirsk, and other towns and villages. Russian combat aircraft continued to carry out airstrikes in and around the village of Dovhenke.

Russian troops are mounting an offensive on the Donetsk front. They are actively deploying missile personnel and equipment, as well as artillery, and are conducting electronic warfare operations. Russia has intensified the use of operational tactical and assault aircraft in the area.

On the Lyman front, Russia is reinforcing units of its troops and has deployed assault aircraft near the village of Dibrovy. Its troops are trying to maintain their hold on Lyman.

On the Sievierodonetsk front, Russian troops conducted artillery-supported assault operations near Sievierodonetsk – fighting continues. Near the village of Bobrove, Russian troops suffered losses and were forced to retreat to previously held positions. They conducted airstrikes near the town of Ustynivka.

Russian occupation forces are trying to improve their tactical positions on the Bakhmut front. Russian troops conducted artillery- and mortar-supported assaults on Volodymyrivka, Vasylivka, Komyshuvakha, and Myronivka. They were unsuccessful, suffered losses, and retreated. They also conducted airstrikes near the village of Yakovlivka.

On the Avdiivka front, Russian troops attempted to launch an assault on Kamianka and Vesele with the support of artillery, but were not successful.

Russian troops undertook no active combat operations on the Kurakhove, Novopavlivske, and Zaporizhzhia fronts. However, they continued to fire on civilian infrastructure along the line of contact.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian troops suffered losses as a result of an offensive mounted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and were forced to hold defences on unfavourable positions near the village of Kostromka. Russia is taking measures to regain its previously held positions, in particular by transferring its reserve troops to most active fronts.

Russian occupation forces fired on civilian infrastructure in Lyman, Stepova Dolyna, Luch, Partysany, Chervonyi Yar, Trudoliubivka, and other towns and villages in southern Ukraine. In order to replenish its losses, Russia is reinforcing units of its troops with obsolete weapons and military equipment, such as T-62 and BMP-1 tanks, which were withdrawn from deep storage.

The situation remains the same on the Besarabia front.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian Armed Forces repulsed seven Russian attacks and destroyed one tank and 6 Russian motor vehicles on the Donetsk and Luhansk fronts. Air Defence units destroyed one Orlan-10 UAV. Russian troops also suffered losses on other fronts.

In the Transnistria region of the Moldovan Republic, all sorts of rules and restrictions have been introduced, including intensified infrastructure checks and checks of civilians and their vehicles, and intensified control of the use of specially equipped automobiles.
