Sloviansk Thermal Power Station halts operation

In order to preserve the life and health of the station's personnel, as well as the need to evacuate employees and their families, it has been decided to stop the operation of the Sloviansk TPS.

They noted that in recent days, the Mykolaiv city territorial community in Donetsk Oblast, where the Sloviansk TPS is geographically located, has been constantly under rocket and artillery fire from the Russian occupation forces.
The total installed capacity of Sloviansk TPS [i.e.,the amount of electricity the plant can supply in ideal conditions -ed.] is 880 MW.
