Russia attacks Sumy Oblast with missiles, mortars, and artillery

According to the Head of Sumy Oblast Military Administration, on the night of 27-28 May, Russian troops bombarded Sumy Oblast with mortars and artillery; a Russian missile hit a civilian target in the oblast.

Quote: "From midnight until four in the morning, Russia bombarded our territories.

A missile strike was launched on Sumy Oblast. A farming facility was destroyed in Putyvl hromada [amalgamated territorial community - ed.].

The Russians opened mortar fire from within the Russian Federation against Znob-Novhorodske hromada; there were around six ‘incomings’.

The Russians also shelled Esman hromada with artillery, also from within Russia. There were around 30 ‘incomings’ on the outskirts of Bachivsk."

Details: Zhyvytskyi noted that there were no casualties.
