Belarus restricts stay near Ukraine border for the whole summer

Belarus has restricted the temporary stay of citizens in the border zone on the territory of the Brahynskyi, Loievskyi and Khoinytskyi districts of the Homel region bordering Ukraine for the whole summer.

Quote: "The State Border Committee hereby announces that in order to ensure border security, from 1 June 2022 to 31 August 2022 citizens are temporarily prohibited from entry and temporary stay in the border zone in the territory of the Brahynskyi, Loievskyi and Khoinytskyi districts of the Homel region."
Details: Also, during the specified period, no passes to the border strip in the territory of the Brahynskyi, Loievskyi and Khoinytskyi districts of the Homel region will be issued.
The restrictions imposed do not apply to persons performing labour (official) duties in connection with border protection activities in the specified territory.
Note: This section of the border strip of Belarus borders part of the Kyiv Oblast (Chornobyl area) and Chernihiv Oblast.
