Aggressors try to hold back the Ukrainian forces and prevent troop transfers – General Staff

The Russian occupiers focused their efforts on holding the Ukrainian defenders back and preventing the transfer of Ukrainian forces.

Details: On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, up to seven battalions of the Belarusian armed forces continue to strengthen that section of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. The threat of missiles and airstrikes from the territory of Belarus remains.
In the Gomel Oblast, Belarus, in the immediate vicinity of the Ukrainian border, an electronic warfare manoeuvre group from the Belarusian armed forces has been deployed.
On the Siversk front, Russian forces continue to strengthen the section of the Ukrainian-Russian border in Russia’s Briansk and Kursk oblasts in order to prevent the transfer of the Ukrainian Defence Forces to other destinations.
On the Slobozhansk front, the aggressors are trying to hold their positions and prevent further advance by Ukrainian units in the direction of the state border.
The invaders continue shelling and carrying out remote mining of possible routes for the advance of Ukrainian troops.
To improve logistics, the enemy is trying to restore the damaged railway.
On the Sloviansk front, the enemy fired artillery at the settlements of Sviatohirsk, Bohorodychne and Virnopillia. In addition, the Russian invaders used aircraft to strike Sloviansk and Dovhenke.
In the Lymansk area, the invaders are trying to displace Ukrainian units from the village of Lyman and mount an offensive against Sloviansk. They fired mortars and multiple rocket launch systems at the settlements of Ozerne and Dibrova. They also carried out an airstrike near Siversk.
On the Sievierodonetsk front, the Russian invaders used artillery support to carry out assaults on the settlements of Shchedryshcheve, Borivske and Toshkivka, and fighting continued.
The Russians are trying to improve their tactical situation around Bakhmut and to disrupt the logistics support of our troops. They conducted attacks near the settlements of Komyshuvakha, Berestove, and Bilohorivka, but without success.
On the Avdiivka front, the invaders used artillery on civilian infrastructure in the areas of the settlements of Novobakhmutivka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Pisk, and Marinka.
On the Kurakhiv, Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia fronts, the aggressors used mortars, rockets, and barrel artillery along the line of contact. They carried out airstrikes from Su-25 attack aircraft in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Orikhov.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, the aggressor has been focusing its main efforts on holding the occupied borders and restricting the actions of the Ukrainian troops.
On the Mykolaiv and Kryvyi Rih fronts, the invaders moved automobiles, armoured combat vehicles and multiple rocket launchers to Kherson Oblast as part of their logistics support and increasing the staff of units that suffered losses.
Ships of the Black Sea Fleet in the waters of the Black and Azov seas continue to perform tasks to isolate the area of combat operations and conduct reconnaissance and fire support on the Prymorsk front.
