Quote from Andriushchenko: "The occupiers have announced the extension of the school year until 1 September. No holidays. Their main goal is to de-Ukrainianise schoolchildren and to prepare them for the Russian curriculum they will have to study next school year.
Throughout the summer, they will have to study Russian language, literature, and history, and maths in Russian.
The occupiers are planning to open 9 schools. However, so far they have only managed to find 53 teachers. 6 teachers per school – this is a good illustration of Russian education in Mariupol under the Russian occupation."
