Kharkiv Oblast: Russian shelling causes 10 fires in past 24 hours

Rescue workers in Kharkiv Oblast have responded to 13 fires, 10 of which were caused by Russian shelling.

Quote: "Overall, rescue workers conducted 24 rescue operations, of which 13 were to extinguish fires, including 10 fires caused by Russian shelling and 3 caused by other factors; 5 were to carry out rescue operations; and 6 to assist civilian population and police officers."

Details: Russian shelling caused 3 fires in Chuhuiv and 7 in Kharkiv districts [raions].

At 12:20 on 25 May, Russian shelling caused 7 fires in the village of Tsyrkuny in Kharkiv District.

3 houses, 4 farming facilities, and a bathhouse caught on fire. The total area of the fire reached 800 square metres.

All fires were eliminated by 17:30 on 25 May. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

The SES conducted rescue operations in damaged buildings in Kyivskyi, Slobidskyi, Saltivskyi, Kholodnohirskyi, and Novobavarskyi districts in the city of Kharkiv.

Over the past 24 hours, explosives technicians disarmed 29 pieces of unexploded ordnance left by the Russian troops.
