Belarus is working to mitigate the effects of the deployment of the Russian Armed Forces involved in the hostilities in Ukraine on its territory. As part of this, measures are being taken to prevent illicit trafficking of weapons and ammunition that could have been lost by Russian troops.

On the Siversk front, Russian troops are covering the Russian-Ukrainian border in the Bryansk and Kursk regions and are trying to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops from the Siversk front on other fronts.

On the Donetsk front, Russia’s main efforts are focused on capturing the city of Lyman and improving the tactical positions of its troops near Sievierodonetsk and Avdiivka. Russian troops are actively waging electronic warfare on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts. Additionally, they have deployed artillery and assault aircraft to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and civilian infrastructure along these fronts.

Russian troops are attempting to gain a foothold near Sievierodonetsk. They conducted an assault operation on the town of Ustynivka, but were unsuccessful.

Fighting continues on the Bakhmut front. Russian forces attempted to advance on Komyshuvakha, Lypove, and Nahirne, but were unsuccessful.

On the Avdiivka front, Russian forces conducted assault operations on Krasnohorivka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, and Pisky, but were repelled by Ukrainian troops.

On the Novopavlivske front, Russian troops attempted to advance on the village of Zolota Nyva, but suffered losses and retreated. On the Zaporizhzhia front, Russian troops shelled Novopil, Charivne, Orikhiv, and Kamianka using artillery.
