Zelenskyy supports petition for visa regime with Russia and instructs Cabinet of Ministers to action it

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has supported a petition to introduce a visa regime for Russian citizens in Ukraine.

Quote: "Thank you to everyone who signed this petition, for your active citizenship.
Against the background of full-scale Russian aggression, the issue raised here is important and urgent, so I support the need to strengthen the regime of control over the entry of Russian citizens into Ukraine.
A suitable letter has been sent to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal requesting him to work on this issue."
Details: The petition, "Establish a visa regime for citizens of the Russian Federation", was published on the President's website on 11 February 2022.
The petition was started by Mykyta Mazura and has been signed by almost 27,000 people.
It is stated that Zelenskyy "successfully supported" it.
