General Staff: Russia mounts offensive on Sievierodonetsk front

Russian troops are mounting an offensive on the Sievierodonetsk front, fighting continues.

Details: On the Bakhmut front, Russian troops mounted an offensive on Komyshuvakha, Yakovlivka, and Troitske, but were unsuccessful and suffered losses.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, up to 7 Belarusian Armed Forces battalions continue to perform tasks to reinforce the security of Belarusian border with Ukraine. There is a threat of missile and air strike on Ukraine from the territory of Belarus.
On the Siversk front, Russia continues to cover the Ukrainian-Russian border, in particular by reinforcing its bases in border-adjacent areas in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. Russian forces continued to fire on Sumy Oblast in Ukraine using artillery and mortars from Russian territory.
On the Kharkiv front, Russia’s main efforts are focused on holding its current positions. Russian troops fired on civilian infrastructure in and around Rubizhne using artillery. In addition, Russian troops once again attempted to advance on the village of Ternova but were unsuccessful.
On the Sloviansk front, Russian forces did not undertake active combat operations, instead focusing their efforts on holding their current positions, conducting reconnaissance, and creating favourable conditions to resume an offensive. They fired on the town of Sviatohirsk and the village of Dovhenke using barrel and jet artillery, mortars, and tanks, and conducted an air strike on the city of Bairak.
Russian troops, with the support of artillery and aircraft, attempted to capture the village of Pasika, but were unsuccessful.
Russian troops intensified hostilities on the Lyman front and are conducting artillery- and air-supported combat operations near the city of Lyman.
On the Avdiivka front, the Russian Federation continued firing on positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian infrastructure in and around Avdiivka, Pisky, Mariinka, Orikhiv, and Novosilka from mortars and artillery. Russian assault and army aircraft were deployed around Kamianka, Avdiivka, and Novomykhailivka.
Russian forces did not undertake active combat operations on the Pivdennyi Buh front. They fired on Ukrainian troop units, conducted counter-battery combat and performed military engineering tasks on main roads and bridges used by the Russian forces.
The Russian army is deploying military personnel and equipment from the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation to form reserve units in order to replenish losses in manpower and equipment on Ukrainian territory.
On the Donetsk and Luhansk fronts, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repulsed 9 Russian attacks over the past 24 hours and destroyed 3 tanks, 8 artillery systems, 18 armoured combat vehicles, 1 special armoured vehicle, and 1 motor vehicle. Ukrainian Air Defence shot down 6 Orlan-10 UAVs and 1 ZALA tactical unmanned aircraft system on the Donetsk and Luhansk fronts.
