Andriushchenko’s direct speech: "Mariupol. Gravedigger. When investigating the rubble of a high-rise building in the area of suburban gas station no. 2 on Mury Avenue, about 200 dead bodies in an advanced state of decomposition were found in the basement under the rubble."

Details: According to him, when local residents refused to collect and pack up the bodies of the victims, the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Emergency Situation of Russia abandoned the site. The corpses remained in place, and now a stench permeates the partially dismantled rubble over a distance of almost one city block.

Andriushchenko also added that in the city, the process of reburying bodies from the courtyards of housing estates has essentially come to a halt.

Currently, a state-owned corporation from Donetsk (CADLR) known as Ritual is in charge of exhumation and burial. But in order to obtain a free "official" reburial, you need to wait in line, bring the body of the deceased to the "morgue" yourself, saying that it was just discovered, or agree to record a video in which you must state that the deceased was in fact killed by the Ukrainian army.

Andriushchenko stressed that because of such conditions, numerous corpses were being placed in bags outside a makeshift morgue near the Metro store. Thus, Mariupol has now turned into a continuous cemetery.
