Zhytomyr region: 4 Russian missiles were shot down, thanks to air defence

In Malyn, Zhytomyr region, explosions were heard for the second time in three days, and air defence was working.

Details: "The Centre" Air Command reported on its Facebook page that the air defence units of the Air Command destroyed four cruise missiles that were flying to the Zhytomyr region.

Quote: "On May 22, at about 13:00, the enemy launched a missile strike on infrastructure facilities in the Zhytomyr region. Four cruise missiles were destroyed by the air defence units of the centre Air Command. Three missiles were eliminated by aviation and another by a unit of the Air Force's anti-aircraft missile forces. According to available information, the Zhytomyr region was attacked from the south-eastern direction by sea-based cruise missiles."

Details: The explosions occurred during an air-raid siren, which was announced in the Zhytomyr region at 13:10.

At 19:15, it became known that on 22 May, as a result of a strike by Russian troops on Malyna at least one person was killed.
